Many M2M applications are potentially well-suited to a range of emerging technologies collectively termed Low Power Wide Area (LPWA) networking technologies. Recent developments in the LPWA space have led us to revise our perspective on these technologies, and we think that the time is now right to include them in our forecasts as a fully-fledged connectivity technology option. This Research Note provides our forecasts on the number of LPWA connections we can expect to see in coming years, and how we expect these technologies to impact M2M markets.
