There is a significant amount of interest from governments and private organisations in nurturing IoT, whether to encourage a new economic growth centre or to tap into the next big thing. There is a huge ecosystem emerging associated with supporting IoT startups. In previous Research Notes we have looked at subjects such as the nurturing initiatives from software and hardware vendors and some particular hardware initiatives aimed squarely at new developers.

In this Research Note we look at some of the programmes that have been launched by the public and private sector to support IoT startups, and some of the trends that have emerged as a result.
