In summer 2016 Machina Research commissioned a study of 420 business decision makers familiar with their company’s use and planned use of the Internet of Things (IoT) to optimize their business operations or to build intelligent, Internet connected products. Qualified respondents were of director level or higher working in relevant business functions and be employed in companies with greater than $10 million in annual revenue. The survey covered topics such as enterprise IoT adoption trends, strategies for IoT implementation, the use of device-generated data on customer and feature usage, and lifecycle management.

This Strategy Report provides analysis of the key trends and findings from the survey.

A press release outlining some of the key findings was published in September HERE.
