On the 18th February, the Global M2M Association announced a ‘seamless global connectivity solution’, supported by Ericsson. On the 23rd February, the Bridge Alliance made a similar announcement. Is there something in the water, or do these two announcements signify a wider development of strategic and market significance? This Research Note examines these two deals and identifies the possible implications for the way in which M2M services are delivered globally.
