This Research Note provides a case study of smart city activities in the Colombian city of Bogota. It draws on work carried out to produce Machina Research’s “Smart City Playbook”, which was sponsored by Nokia and published in November 2016. It evaluates Bogota’s programs and trials and provides a numerical score across a range of metrics to provide some points of comparison between Bogota and other smart cities.
