Audio Visual Sources: connected versions of games consoles, home audio and others become the norm
Audio visual sources include a range of fixed multimedia devices without built-in screens intended for accessing on-line content. The categories of the devices included in this report as follows:
- Video sources – this includes traditional media sources such as Blu-ray players, DVD players or PVRs that have been augmented with network capabilities in addition to internet set top boxes (STBs), home media centres and media streaming USB sticks.

Other products adapt existing non-connected systems to allow users to listen to online content.
