Webinar - LPWA: Disruptive New Networks for the Internet of Things, 14th December
Machina Research has been tracking the growth of emerging LPWA network technologies since they seriously arrived on the scene around 5 years ago. In fact we coined the term ‘Low Power Wide Area’ to define the group of emerging technologies that now includes the likes of LoRa, Sigfox, NarrowBand IoT, and LTE-M. We first forecast a substantial opportunity in June 2013, and in the years since we have continued to follow this element of IoT with great interest, as more and more companies have decided to commit to deployments. In our latest Strategy Report ‘LPWA: Disruptive New Networks for IoT’ we have explored all the latest developments, including the growth of LoRa, the emerging standardisation initiatives within 3GPP, and the likely fortunes of the various other technologies that populate the LPWA market.
On the 14th December Machina Research will run a free webinar outlining our view on the LPWA market and discussing the key findings of this extensive Strategy Report. Join the report author, Principal Analyst Aapo Markkanen, and Machina Research founder Matt Hatton on the 14th December at 4pm GMT to understand more about the key trends and developments in LPWA.
The webinar will cover:
- Defining LPWA – what does it actually mean?
- Diversity of the technologies – how are they positioned?
- Key market issues and future scenarios – where is LPWA heading?
