Machina Research continues to expand Smart Cities research

05 August 2015

Machina Research today published two new Implementation Guides in its Smart Cities Research Stream. The aim of the research is to provide city managers with the key information that they need to turn their city into a smart city. It provides analysis of the smart cities space overall, recommendations over thresholds and context for deployment of different smart city applications, best practice for implementation and case studies of deployments.

The latest Implementation Guides focus on smart public transport and smart parking. These 25-30 page in-depth reports complement the Implementation Guides published in recent months looking at street lighting, waste management and public WiFi.

Future Implementation Guides will look at topics such as smart city software platforms, road signs and CCTV.
